I was reading an article about all these schools putting dress and hair codes in place for girls.
"Boys will be boys" was the excuse. A brilliant excuse for adults to not have to do the tough work - enforcing an environment of decency and respect.
Instead, they punish girls who dare to attract the attention of boys. They punish girls if they don't conform to arbitrary rules about what they do to or put on their body, "for their own protection."
Raging at the sheer bullshit.
What if we taught every girl to throat punch the boys that dared to touch them? Throat punches to all the boys that stood too close or blocked their path?
Will we be able to live in a world where...
"Girls will be girls" as a rationale for boys walking down the halls in packs.
"Girls will be girls" as a cause for why boys seek therapy.
"Girls will be girls" as a reason for why a woman is fit for office.
Don't know. But aim for the throat, ladies.
