Dancing Daffodil

Dancing Daffodil

Nothing left in me to give.
I’m a husk a shell a empty bucket of blah.
-
I want to write, I want to wander.
I meander I live and then I rest.
-
I am a delicate flower, a dancing daffodil.
Slow down the movement and the dance is clear.
-
I slow down and I phase.
My movements blur and blend so I look like flowing energy with no clear lines or purpose.
Snapshot and it’s clear…
Let me dance, let me slow down the look…the data, the analytic brain shushes.
-
Precision focuses in
Expansion blurs.
-
Two sides
Of the same flower
Of the same person
Of the same energy.
-
Precision was yesterday
Expansion is today.

Note to future self:
I could make this work better by dimming the light
By changing the color and the pattern.
But that would take away from the pure dance energy, the pure happiness of a daffodil wiggling in the breeze.
Perfection, visual appeal would destroy the beauty.
